A highly collectible vintage Omega Seamaster 300 “Big Triangle”, reference 165.024, dating to approximately 1967. This distinctive example features the iconic 42mm stainless-steel case, desirable Big Triangle dial, and sought-after Flat 1 rotating bezel.

The striking black dial displays the characteristic oversized luminous triangle at 12 o'clock, Arabic numerals at 3, 6 and 9, and beautifully aged hour markers with an attractive warm, creamy-yellow patina. The broad sword hands and arrow-tipped centre-seconds hand complete the unmistakable appearance of this classic 1960s diver's watch.

A particularly interesting feature is the black Flat 1 bezel, distinguished by the flat-topped numeral 1 in its minute markings. This subtle detail is appreciated by knowledgeable Seamaster 300 collectors and adds to the vintage character of the watch.

Inside beats the renowned Omega automatic caliber 552, a robust 24-jewel movement. Its serial number, is consistent with the production period of the Big Triangle configuration, supporting a date of approximately 1967.

The stainless-steel case retains its distinctive twisted lugs and characteristic proportions, with honest signs of age and previous polishing. The caseback displays the traditional Seamaster hippocampus engraving, while the inside bears the Omega markings and reference number.
