What makes this example particularly fascinating is its unusual combination of details: the striking red centre-seconds hand, original luminous hour and minute hands, chronometer movement adjusted to 6 positions, and exceptionally rare spring-bar access holes on only one side of the Oyster case.

The red seconds and luminous hands show a remarkable resemblance to the legendary Rolex Zerographe of the same era—one of Rolex's most important early experimental watches.
