THE FOUNDER

Khatchatour Mkrtoumian has collected vintage watches since 2005 and has worked professionally as a watch trader since 2012.

Over the years, he has built extensive knowledge of both modern and vintage timepieces. Private collectors, jewellers and watch dealers turn to him not only to buy and sell watches but also to verify the authenticity of their timepieces. Many buyers bring sellers directly to his office so he can confirm whether a watch is original.

His expertise goes beyond that of traditional watchmakers, who often focus only on the movement. For Khatchatour, the movement is the last thing to inspect. He begins by analysing the case, dial, hands, engravings, and every tiny detail where fakes usually reveal themselves. This method, together with his years of experience, makes it possible to detect even the most sophisticated handmade fakes built around original movements.

When buying watches, he is ready to pay competitive market prices and complete transactions quickly and securely. Selling a watch in his Antwerp office usually takes no longer than five minutes, and payment is made instantly via bank transfer.

His approach is based on two principles:

1. Knowledge: a lifetime of study and research — from vintage pocket watches to modern tourbillons.
2. Integrity: every watch he buys and sells is authentic, legally acquired, and thoroughly evaluated.
   

Khatchatour has been a member of the Belgian Chamber of Experts (KGSO) since 2022, a member of the Watch Trader Association since 2017, and a Certified Diamond Grader by HRD Antwerp since 2013. He also actively follows international watch fairs and auctions to stay current with the global watch market.
