An exceptionally rare and collectible vintage Vacheron Constantin wristwatch, dating to approximately 1940, featuring an unusually large 35mm case crafted in 18K yellow gold, elegant sculpted lugs, and a distinctive champagne-colored dial.
The beautifully balanced dial features applied gold Roman numerals, delicate dot markers, a finely printed outer minute track, and subsidiary seconds at 6 o'clock. The original printed detailing appears to have been preserved, although the dial shows evidence of cleaning and restoration carried out in the past.
The watch is powered by a finely finished manual-winding Vacheron Constantin movement, believed to be caliber 453, reflecting the exceptional craftsmanship of the manufacture during this period.
